GALETON, PA – One Pennsylvania man was arrested on Saturday, July 4, 2026, just after 2:00 AM, in the area along Bridge Street in Galeton Borough after Pennsylvania State Police conducted a traffic stop on 2026 blue Polaris after they witnessed a Title 75 violation.
According to PSP-Coudersport Release and court records, upon further investigation, 30-year-old Michael Anthony Dormer of Feasterville-Trevose, PA was arrested by Troopers for (allegedly) driving under the influence of controlled substances. Additionally, Dormer was (allegedly) found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed through District Court 55-4-03.
Michael Dormer was charged with the following;
- 75 § 3802 §§ D1iii* – DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL/CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE – (3rd Degree Misdemeanor).
- 75 § 3802 §§ D1ii* – DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL/CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE – (3rd Degree Misdemeanor).
- 75 § 3802 §§ D1i* – DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL/CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE – (3rd Degree Misdemeanor).
- 75 § 3802 §§ D2* – DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL/CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE – (3rd Degree Misdemeanor).
- 35 § 780-113 §§ A32 – USE/POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – (Misdemeanor).

Dormer’s preliminary hearing is set for Monday, September 21, 2026, at 10:30 AM, in front of Magisterial District Judge Christopher Dominic Kalacinski.
