
SWEDEN TOWNSHIP, PA – A Coudersport man was injured after being ejected from his truck in a rollover crash late Friday evening, August 21, 2026. Coudersport fire and EMS units responded to a reported single vehicle rollover crash on Friday, August 21, 2026, around 10:15 PM in the area of E 2nd Street in Sweden Township, PA.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, 39-year-old Justin A. Button of Coudersport, PA, was travelling West at a high rate of speed along State Route 6, in Potter County. As Button approached a left hand curve in the roadway in his 2012 Chevrolet Silverado, he entered the curve, and lost control. Button’s Silverado then overturned, striking the guiderail, and continued overturning into a large ditch located on the Northern side of the roadway. Button was ejected from his pickup. The truck and Button came to a landed in the ditch.
Justin Button was transported from the scene by Coudersport Volunteer EMS to UPMC Cole for suspected serious injuries.
Pennsylvania State Police noted that Button was not wearing his seat belt and the front airbags of his Silverado had deployed. The truck sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene by Kightlinger Motors.
Although the PSP-Coudersport Release labeled this incident as a DUI no charges have been filed at the time of this publication. Case No. PA 2026-1060021. If more information becomes available FNN PA will add it to this article.
