MANSFIELD, PA – The newly built Onvo Travel Plaza located at 1904 South Main Street in Mansfield, is finally having their Grand Opening on Monday, June 8, 2026.
The travel plaza was approved in late 2021 and construction was to begin in early 2022 with an opening slated for later that year. However, delays persisted over the years, until February of 2024 when movement was noticed by residents as work started on the removal of the buildings still sitting on the planned construction site (shown below). Once all the buildings were removed crew broke ground to and construction of the Onvo Travel Plaza was able to start.
According to vice president of real estate portfolio and development Dan Naylor who spoke with FNN back in 2024, construction was delayed due to a variety of issues related to conditions over the past couple of years. This included the flooding of the construction area back on August 9, 2024, where the travel plaza was to be built.

“The new Travel Plaza will serve truck drivers, commuters, and locals with gas, truck diesel and an 8,000-square-foot building which will house a Burger King and an Onvo convenience store. The site will feature truck parking, showers, state of the art Bean to Cup coffee machines, a drive thru for the Burger King and EV chargers,” Naylor told FNN two years ago.
Ribbon cutting for the Grand Opening event at the Onvo Travel Plaza will take place at 10:00 AM. During the Grand Opening there will be fuel promotions, extra Onvo Rewards Fuel Savings, free coffee and made-to-go order beverages, as well as Burger King giveaways and soft serve coupons. There will be limited Onvo merchandise giveaways. There will also be a community check presentation supporting local organizations. Onvo also noted that there will be a specials for customers throughout the week.
