Mary M. Taft age 67 of Westfield, PA, passed away at home on Monday, May 4, 2026. Born on Monday, July 28, 1958 at the Blossburg, State Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Clyde N. and Cecelia (Lovell) Pierce, Sr.
Mary spent her early years working at the panty factory in Westfield. She later found her true calling in healthcare, earning her CNA through Broad Acres Nursing Home and dedicated many years to caring for others as a visiting nurse.
She enjoyed feeding and watching her birds, finding treasures at local yard sales, going to Bingo and playing lottery tickets. Above all else she loved her grandchildren and spending time with them.
Mary is survived by her lifelong companion, John Campbell of Westfield; her children, Melissa (Chris) Kent of Germania, Jonell (Jackie) Campbell of Westfield and Johnny (Glenda) Campbell of Westfield; grandchildren, Sylvia, Brandon, Parker, Bennett, Chayce, Brysyn, Skuyler and Claire; 2 great granddaughters, Eliza and Amelia; her siblings, Connie (Dean) Hess, Roy Pierce, Patricia Metcalf, Jacqueline Bonniger, Jeffery (Cindy) Pierce, Bruce (Brenda) Pierce and Sue (Leo) Pierce and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Collin James and her brothers, William, Clyde Jr., Luke and Richard Pierce.
A Celebration of Mary’s Life will be held at the Riverside Park in Westfield, PA, on Saturday, May 16th at 1:00 PM, please bring a dish to pass.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Kenyon Funeral Home, 222 W. Main St., Westfield, PA 16950 to help the family with expenses. Arrangements are in care of Kenyon Funeral Home.
