LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP, PA – Lawrenceville Fire Department and Tioga Volunteer Fire Department, along with EMS were dispatched to a single vehicle accident in Lawrence Township early Wednesday morning, August 26, 2026.
The crash was reported along Wheeler Road near the Deer Lane intersection around 7:38 AM by the Dear’s Mobile Home Park manager. Early reports indicated that a truck had struck a tree.
Lawrenceville fire personnel arrived on scene around 7:44 AM and he confirmed that a vehicle was off the roadway and had struck a tree. Both occupants in that vehicle had exited the vehicle without any assistance.
Lawrenceville command was able to recall medics and Tioga fire units by 7:45 AM, as those units were not needed as there were no injuries. Lawrenceville’s Recue 8-8 with four crew members continued in to assist at the accident scene, as did a responding ambulance, according to Lawrenceville Fire Department.
Pennsylvania State Police arrived on scene by 8:08 AM. Case’s Towing out of Mansfield had been requested by the vehicle owner and the towing service arrived on scene by 8:50 PM.
Lawrenceville fire crews were finally cleared to return to their station at 9:00 AM.
