250 Performers to Celebrate 250 Years of America at Lycoming County’s America250PA Celebration Concert

Free event at the Brandon Park Bandshell on June 27th features full day of performances culminating in a community-wide concert celebration of America’s 250th anniversary. (Scroll down to view event schedule.

WILLIAMSPORT, PA —The America250PA Lycoming County Committee invites the public to join a once-in-a-generation celebration concert honoring America’s 250th birthday on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Brandon Park in Williamsport.

The free community event will begin at 1:00 p.m. with an afternoon of performances by local artists, designed to complement Williamsport’s HomeMade Days festivities, and culminate in the America250PA Lycoming County Celebration Concert at 6:00 p.m., featuring more than 250 performers.

Throughout the day, audiences will enjoy performances by Wild Honey, the Repasz Band, Uptown Music Collective, and the Williamsport Symphony Orchestra’s Billtown Brass, showcasing the diverse musical talent found throughout Lycoming County.

The evening America250PA Lycoming County Celebration Concert begins at 6:00 p.m. and brings together more than 250 musicians, vocalists, theatre artists, dancers and performers in a collaborative production commemorating America’s Semiquincentennial. 

Featured performers include the Williamsport Summer Pops Orchestra under the direction of Executive Producer Walt Straiton, the Repasz Band, Uptown Music Collective, Billtown Brass, the Williamsport Civic Chorus, the Williamsport Chamber Choir, the Lycoming County All-Star High School Marching Band, West Branch Chorale, Saint John’s School of the Arts, STOA, local artists, dancers and special guests.

Special guest artist Dylan Rockoff will join the evening concert, along with guest performers Zavon Braggs, Mike Caschera, Dave Brumbaugh, Mallory Scoppa, Kent Weaver, Nicole Miele, Addy Wynkoop, Caiden Scarfo, Jaslin Shand, Nathan Fulkerson, Sarah Keely Decker, and Bebe Tabickman.

“I’m honored and humbled to bring together 250 musicians to celebrate 250 years of America,” said Walt Straiton, Executive Producer of the Celebration Concert. “Patriotic music and songs — several written by local artists throughout the years — will ring loudly across Brandon Park as we celebrate our nation’s history and the extraordinary talent found right here in Lycoming County.”

The event is presented by the America250PA Lycoming County Committee as part of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s commemoration of America’s 250th anniversary. 

Community members are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, gather with friends and family, and enjoy a full day of music, entertainment, and community celebration.

PARKING INFORMATION

Free parking for the evening concert will be available courtesy of Lycoming College. Attendees are encouraged to park in either the Lynn Science Center Lot or the Mulberry Street Lot on the Lycoming College campus. Additional parking will also be available on surrounding streets and in public parking areas near Brandon Park.

Courtesy shuttle service between the Lycoming College parking lots and Brandon Park will be provided by River Valley Transit Authority (RVTA). Shuttle service will operate from 5:00 p.m. until approximately 9:00 p.m. Guests may board at RVTA stops along Mulberry Street.

The committee extends its appreciation to Lycoming College and River Valley Transit Authority for helping make this community celebration accessible and welcoming for attendees from throughout the region.
