Friday, June 5, brings the Wellsboro Men’s & Women’s Chorus to the outdoor stage at the Deane Center for the Performing Arts at 104 Main Street in Wellsboro for a free concert as part of the summer series.

Saturday, June 13, for the First Annual Valley Classic Car Show at the Home Comfort Restaurant in Westfield, PA. Come on out to discover amazing vintage automobiles, enjoy entertainment, and spend a day out with vendors, games, and great food.

Registration at 10:00 AM and kickstands up at 12:30 PM.

The Poker Run starts and ends at the Elkland Moose with stops at:

  • Williamson High School, to lay a wreath at the Veterans Memorial, around 1:00 PM with guest speaker Renata Stiehl, WENY TV.
  • Jason’s Pub – Tioga, PA
  • Wellsboro Moose
  • Perma-Stone Inn – Galeton, PA
  • Larry’s Sports Center – Galeton, PA

Cost – $20/Driver and $10/Passenger. Please note that cost includes a meal at the Elkland Moose after the Poker Run ends.

– 84th Annual Laurel Queen Coronation – Saturday, June 20, at 6:30 PM at Wellsboro High School Auditorium at 227 Nichols St, Wellsboro, PA.

– Union Service on the Green 2026 – Sunday, June 21, 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at The Green in Wellsboro.

– The 17th annual Galeton community celebration of Worldwide Knitting in Public Day will once again be held at the Pennsylvania Lumber Museum this year. Celebrate all things fiber with knitters, spinners, weavers, shepherds, and other fiber enthusiasts from the area. The following weekend, on June 20, you can join local artist Cathy Snyder and learn how to “Make a Handmade Casserole Basket” at the museum site (reservations required).

– Throughout the month, Sinnemahoning State Park, Lyman Run, and other state parks in our region offer events like guided hikes, animal presentations, bird watching and free classes in a variety of topics offered by park rangers and staff.
