Lise Bailey, age 74, of Mansfield, PA, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at her home in Mansfield, PA. Lise was born June, 3, 1952, a daughter to Carl and Vibeke (Bogh) Bailey.
Lise’s life touched those around her in ways that will be lovingly remembered and by those who will carry her memory with them, holding ever so close, the moments they shared together.
Those who knew and loved Lise are invited to remember her not only with sadness, but with gratitude for the time they were blessed to have her in their lives.
Lise had a great love for cats and would help any stray she encountered along the way. She loved all animals’ domestic or feral. Lise also loved horses and through her generosity and without hesitation allowed her neighbor use of her property, providing shelter and water, for the friend’s horses as both were unobtainable on the neighbor’s property.
She was often found cat-sitting for friends when they went on vacation and enjoyed chatting with friends when she would bump into them around town.
Lise was a graduate of Mansfield Jr. Sr. High School, after graduating she was employed through her family’s business, Bogh Flowers, Mansfield, PA, Kuhl’s Flowers in Mansfield, PA, Keystone in Covington, Pa, and became a caregiver later in life to many residents of Tioga County, PA.
Lise was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Vibeke (Bogh) Bailey.
She is survived by her cousins, Gena Rasmussen, Joseph Rasmussen Jr. and several distant cousins.
As per Lise’s wishes there will be no services.
Lise’s only request was to be cremated and her ashes buried next to her mom and dad on the family farm.
