MANSFIELD, PA – Justin White has been named the director of Admissions at Commonwealth University-Mansfield. White will lead Mansfield recruitment efforts, work closely with local and regional school districts, and support prospective students and their families in the college search process.
White came to Mansfield in November as associate director of Admissions. In his brief time on campus, White and his team more than doubled on-campus visits compared to the same time last year. In March, the Mansfield Admissions team held its largest Major Showcase Day event ever, with 90 prospective nursing students visiting campus to learn more about the program.
“I’m proud to lead an Admissions team that is deeply committed to student success,” said White. “We’re building something special at Mansfield, and I’m excited to continue growing our reach and helping more students call this place home.”
A native of Philadelphia, White completed undergraduate and graduate degrees in sports management at Commonwealth University-Lock Haven. He was a student trustee and two-time team captain on the Bald Eagles football team.
Following graduation, White began his career with the Commonwealth University Admissions Department, based out of the Lock Haven campus. In that time, he oversaw a successful tour guide program and increased applications and enrollment in the Lehigh Valley region, his primary recruitment area.
