Adrienne Gail Kaschalk, age 83, of Lawrenceville, PA, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026. She was born on Monday, November 16, 1942, in Altoona, PA, to parents Thomas and Marguerite Ryan Jr.
Gail will be remembered for being a loving mother, a fearless advocate for her coworkers and friends, as well as for her generosity and cordiality. She delighted hosting friendly gatherings at her home.
She spent her career as a fourth grade elementary teacher at R.B. Walter Elementary School in the Northern Tioga School District. She and her husband ran the first Cowanesque Lake Concession Stand during the summers after the Cowanesque dam was constructed. They enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and spending winters at Miramar Beach, Florida, with their best friends, Larry and Linda Levanowitz of Mansfield, Pennsylvania.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 48 years, Raymond Kaschalk Sr., and survived by her only son, Raymond Kaschalk Jr., his wife Susan Kaschalk, her three grandchildren, Sarah, Stephen and Spencer Kaschalk, her brother, Thomas Ryan III, and his Wife, Gail Ryan, and her nephews, Thomas Ryan IV(Araceli Ryan) and Matthew Ryan (Bridiga Ryan).
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026, at 10:30 am at Powers Cemetery in Lawrenceville, PA, with Reverend Jacek Bialkowski officiating, she will then be laid to rest following the service. Arrangements are in the care of Kenyon Funeral Home Inc.
