2 Injured in Early Morning ATV Crash in Tioga Township

TIOGA, PA – Early Friday morning, July 10, 2026, two individuals injured in an ATV crash were picked up along the roadway by a female driver and dropped off at the Kwik Fill station located at the intersection of Wellsboro Street and North Main Street in Tioga Borough.

The 911 Dispatch Center received a call from the woman who dropped off the two victims at the Tioga Borough gas station. The woman provided some details on the injured couple to the 911 operator. By 3:26 AM, fire and EMS units from Tioga and Lawrenceville, as well as medics units out of Wellsboro responded.

Tioga fire personnel were able to locate the actual accident scene which occurred along Limerick Lane close to the Bear Creek Road intersection. It was stated that the individuals were riding and ATV and had struck a tree. Tioga Volunteer Fire Department was then requested to the area to remove the downed tree in the roadway around 4:00 AM. At that same time, Pennsylvania State Police were requested as this crash did not occur on private property.

Tioga firefighters were able to quickly remove the tree from the roadway and that crew was able to return to their station.

As for the two adult victims, one was a male in his early 40s and the other was a female in her mid 30s. Both individuals suffered numerous injuries and possible broken bones. FNN could only confirm that one patient was transported to Williamsport Hospital for treatment of their injuries. Although it is believed both victims where transported to the same hospital, FNN could not confirm if that was true.

It was reported to FNN that both individuals are home and recovering from their injuries.
