Wanted Wyalusing Man Arrested

WYALUSING BOROUGH, PA – On Wednesday, December 10, 2025, Pennsylvania State Police based in Towanda conducted a patrol check at US 6 and 5th Street in Wyalusing Borough. Around 10:03 PM, they came in contact with 24-year-old Steven Smith of Wyalusing, PA, a wanted subject.

According to police, Smith allegedly provided a false name and date of birth. Trooper also allege that Smith was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.

Charges were filed through MDJ Edsell’s office.

Smith was place in the Bradford County Prison on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, as he was unable to pay the monetary bail of $5,000.

Steven Smith was charged with the following:
* 3 Counts of USE/POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – Misdemeanor.
* FALSE IDENTIFICATION TO LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER – 3rd Degree Misdemeanor.

Smith’s preliminary hearing is set for Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 1:00 PM in front of MDJ Ryan L. Edsell.
