WILLIAMSPORT, PA – The First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania (FCFP), in partnership with the Blaise Alexander Family Dealerships, successfully concluded Raise the Region 2026 on March 11–12, generating $2,276,874 in donations to support local nonprofit organizations. Now in its 14th year, this 30-hour online giving event continues to showcase the extraordinary generosity of donors, whose support enables nonprofits to provide vital services across Columbia, Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, Tioga, and Union counties.
“FCFP is proud to offer this platform to support nonprofits across the region, and we continue to be
inspired by the incredible generosity demonstrated throughout the communities we serve,” said Jennifer D. Wilson, President & CEO.
During the event, more than 7,500 donors made over 15,000 gifts, supporting the 344 participating
nonprofit organizations. Since launching in 2013, Raise the Region has helped generate more than $23.7
million for nonprofits working to strengthen communities across North Central Pennsylvania.
In addition to the $1,934,841 raised through public donations, participating nonprofits also received
$342,033 in stretch funds and incentive prizes, made possible through the generous support of the Blaise
Alexander Family Dealerships and associate sponsors.
More than 120 nonprofit organizations received prizes from associate sponsors including First Citizens
Community Bank, Kintra Wealth, Larson Design Group, Miele Manufacturing, Subaru, Toyota Motor
Corporation, UPMC, and Weis Markets.
Wilson added, “The sponsors of Raise the Region play a vital role in the event’s success. On behalf of
the entire FCFP team and our nonprofit partners, we extend our sincere gratitude to the Blaise Alexander
Family Dealerships and the many businesses whose support makes this program possible.”
One of the most anticipated incentives of the event, the Blaise Alexander Family Dealerships Grand
Prize, recognizes the small, medium, and large nonprofits that secured the greatest number of unique donors during the 30-hour event. Each organization received a $5,000 prize. This year’s recipients are Lycoming Clinton Counties Homeschool Association, Cherished Cats & The Scratching Post, and Camp Susque Inc.
Additional prize highlights include Planted Gap Year, which earned recognition as the top-performing
first-time participant with the most unique donors. Carl Armstrong was awarded the Good Samaritan Prize after making gifts to 71 different organizations, allowing him to direct a $2,000 award to Camp Susque, the nonprofit of his choice.
