Reminder Release – March 20, 2026.
TIOGA COUNTY, PA – Tioga County, PA is currently seeking photo submissions that showcase the beauty and character of the Pine Creek Rail Trail, which has been named Pennsylvania’s 2026 Trail of the Year. This 62-mile trail through the Appalachian Mountains is known for its stunning landscapes, outdoor recreation, wildlife, and dark skies, and we’re looking for high-quality images to help celebrate it throughout the year.
Photographers are invited to submit high-resolution images (300 dpi, minimum 2400 x 3000 pixels) by March 27, 2026. Selected photos may be featured in promotional and educational materials, including the official Trail of the Year poster, websites, social media, and more.
Submissions should be emailed to rcourtney@tiogacountypa.us with the subject line “Pine Creek Rail Trail Photography Submission,” and include:
- A brief description of the photograph
- The location along the trail
- Photographer’s name for credit
- A contact phone number
Feel free to spread the word to other photographers, outdoor enthusiasts, and any community members who may be interested in participating.
