William M. “Bill” Alberte, 65, of Middlebury Center, PA, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at his home. He was born December 26, 1960, in Ephrata, PA to William F. and Joyce E. (Beamesderfer) Alberte.
He graduated from Cocalico High School. Then on May 13, 1989, married Karen S. Haulman with whom he shared 37 years of marriage.
Bill worked many jobs, but primarily he worked as a telecommunications technician, and that was the work that he did in this area.
He was an active member of the Middlebury Baptist Church, an avid hunter, Bill enjoyed farming and tractors, and he had some gunsmithing.
He is survived by his wife Karen Alberte of Middlebury Center, two sisters: Susan Numbers (Ray) of Lititz and Sandra E. Kramer (Stephen) of Lititz, and his beloved Chocolate Lab Dallas. Bill was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends and family are invited to pay tribute to Bill’s life from 11am-1pm Monday, September 14, 2026, at the Middlebury Baptist Church and to his funeral service which will follow at 1pm in the church.
