Sandra B. (Baker) Allen, 81, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026, surrounded by family at the Green Home in Wellsboro. She was born on Wednesday, August 30, 1944, in Osceola, PA, to Hyla and Vera (Johnson) Baker.
She graduated from high school and on August 29, 1964, she married Dale Allen with whom she shared 61 years of marriage.
Sandra worked as a legal secretary for Judge Kemp, and a secretary for Brooks Petroleum. She was also a waitress at Harland’s and Babbs Creek Restaurants. Although she did work outside the home, her main occupation was as a wife to a farmer and raising their four boys. Sandra also served on the Wellsboro School Board.
Sandra is survived by her husband: Dale Allen of Wellsboro; four sons: Stephen (Linda) Allen of Mansfield, Brian (Mary) Allen of Wellsboro, Scott (Betty) Allen of Box Elder, SD, and Jonathan Allen of Wellsboro; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Pam (Joseph) DeSisti of Endicott, NY and Rhonda (Ron) Boyce of Cogan Station. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends and family are invited to pay tribute to Sandra’s life from 6-7pm Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home 139 Main Street Wellsboro, PA with a memorial service to follow in the funeral home at 7pm.
