Richard “Dick” Hilary MacDonald, age 92 of Tioga, PA, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2025, at the Green Home in Wellsboro, PA. Dick was born on Wednesday, December 7, 1932, in Elmira, NY, a son of Harry and Louise (Froescher) MacDonald.
Dick worked for Ingersoll-Rand as a tool maker. He was a US Army veteran and a member of the American Legion. Dick was a member of Tioga Masonic Lodge #373, and enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and fishing.
Dick is survived by his wife, Betsy (Treat) MacDonald; daughter Tammy Stage of Lawrenceville, PA; and grandson Andrew (Cari) Stage. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Dorothy Miller and Constance Miller, Brother David MacDonald, and son-in-law Ralph Stage.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 11am at The Ven-You 6 Broad St. Tioga, PA with Pastor Harry Dow officiating. Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery, Tioga, PA at a later date.
