Patricia E. Mattison, age 69 of Lawrenceville, PA, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at Guthrie Corning Hospital. She was born on Sunday, July 29, 1956, in Bath, NY, and was a daughter to the late Grant and Ellen (Thompson) Fitzwater.
On February 23, 1974, William “Rusty” Mattison married Patricia, spending 52 loving years together.
For roughly 20 years, Patricia worked at Hilliard Corporation as a machine operator.
She was an avid artist; spending her free time painting, crafting, and wood burning. Patricia also liked camping at local areas with her husband and spending time with her dog, Lizzy.
She is survived by her loving husband, William Mattison of Lawrenceville, PA; daughter, Stacey Copp (Neil Simms) of Corning, NY; grandchildren, Tyler Copp (Amanda), Dylan Copp (Makenna), and Matyson Copp (Mitchell) all of Corning, NY; and a great-grandson, Weslan Copp.
Per Patricia’s wishes, no services are to be held at this time. The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Kenyon Funeral Home, Inc.
