Obituary of Pamela Joy DeRemer of Arnot, PA

Pamela Joy DeRemer, age 68, of Arnot, PA, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at UPMC Williamsport Hospital surrounded by her entire family. She was born on Saturday, July 20, 1957, in Blossburg, PA, a daughter of Cobb and Margaret (Lanterman) Lawson.

Pamela was married to James Harry DeRemer. She was a volunteer EMT and worked at Wundies Undies, Bloss Holiday, and the United States Post Office in Arnot. Pamela was a life member of the Blossburg Fire and Ambulance and an organist for Presbyterian Church in Arnot. She enjoyed camping and spending time with family.

Pamela is survived by her husband; a son, Trevor DeRemer of Blossburg, PA; two daughters, Megan Lawson of Blossburg, PA, and Brenda DeRemer of Arnot, PA; three stepsons, James H. (Chris) DeRemer, Jr. of Montgomery, PA, Scott (Diane) DeRemer of South Williamsport, PA, and Jason (Michelle) DeRemer of Allentown, PA; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother, Mark (Lisa) Lawson of TX; two sisters, Myra (Terry) Kreger of Arnot, PA, and Marsha Raker of Roaring Branch, PA; and three sisters-in-law, Flo-Ann (Randy) Snyder of Carlisle, PA, Kimberly (Chip) Franquet of South Williamsport, PA, and Barb DeRemer of Chicago, IL. She was preceded in death brother-in-law, Tom DeRemer.

Friends and family are invited to call from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday, December 19, 2025 at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 am with Pastor Candice Chase officiating.
