Nancy L. Southard, age 86 of Lawrenceville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at the Green Home in Wellsboro, PA. Born on Saturday, October 14, 1939, in Wellsboro, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Alice (Binkey) King.
She retired from Corning Glass after 34 years of service and received her 50 year pin.
Nancy enjoyed bird watching, going to the Ridge Runner Café and the casino with her sisters. She also enjoyed reading, watching jeopardy and Chicago Cubs baseball.
She is survived by her daughters, Patsy Rose of Lawrenceville, PA, and Judy and Herb Wright of Addison, NY; grandchildren, Douglas and Charity Miles of Lawrenceville, PA, Ryan and Amber Rose of Wellsboro, PA, Dustin and Elvira Neal of Elkland, PA, and Casey Neal of Elkland, PA; brother, James King of Las Vegas, NV; great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Richard F. Southard; son in law, Roger Rose; her beloved dog Maggie and siblings, Carolyn Southard, Edith Rumsey, Ruth Mileouski, Betty Larabee, Wanda Klunkler, Mary Porter, Joyce VanGelder, Paul, Robert and David King.
