Miles Luther Fenstermacher III, 77, of Mansfield, PA – With great sadness, the family of Miles Luther Fenstermacher III shares the news of his passing on Friday, January 9, 2026. Miles was born on Saturday, April 17, 1948, to Miles and Marian (McIntosh) Fenstermacher of Mansfield.
He was a graduate of Mansfield Area High School (Class of 1965) and Williamsport Area Community College for Diesel Mechanic.
Miles spent most of his life working on trucks or grabbing gears. He drove truck locally and over the road. He enjoyed being an over the road trucker, as well as puttering around on his old Ford tractor “Henry” working in the field raking hay.
Spending time with his family was very important to Miles, it did not matter whether it was having picnics or just being at home. He spent many summer weekends attending local horse shows when the kids and grandchildren were younger.
Miles is survived by his wife, Michele (Burns) and his children, Miles (Melissa) Fenstermacher IV of Mansfield, Wayne Fenstermacher of Cogan Station, Samantha (Shane) Wolford of Mansfield, and Meagan (Ken) Nowak of Wellsboro; numerous grandchildren, Taylor (John), Jessica (Jaycob), Kylie, Gavin, Shawna, Jacob, Cristina, Logan, and four great grandchildren, along with two sisters, Patricia Fenstermacher and June Teague.
He was predeceased by his sister-in-law, Melissa Terase.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will immediately follow at 7:00 P.M. with Pastor Harry Colegrove officiating.
