Michel J. Warriner, age 70, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at The Gatehouse in Williamsport, PA. He was born on Saturday, September 24, 1955, in Wellsboro, PA, a son of George and Ethel (Kagenski) Warriner.
He graduated from Wellsboro High School Class of 1973.
Michel worked in customer service for Liberty Mutual.
He enjoyed painting and pencil sketching.
Michel is survived by four brothers, James (Nancy) Warriner of Washington Crossing, PA, Tom (Paula) Warriner of Wellsboro, PA, George Warriner of Danville, PA, and Robert Warriner of Wellsboro, PA; a sister, Justine Scarinci of Columbia Cross Roads, PA; a sister-in-law, Joan Warriner of Danville, PA; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews who called him “GUM” Great Uncle Mike.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Dick and Patrick Warriner; a sister-in-law, Debbie Warriner; and his beloved canine companion, Joey.
