Obituary of Marion D. Warren

Marion D. Warren, 89, resident of Broad Acres Health and Rehabilitation Center in Wellsboro PA, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Daryl Warren. They were married on March 3, 1979. She was born on October 30, 1937, to the late Marion and John Malarkey and was educated in Philadelphia schools.

Marion was mother to four sons, David, Chuck, and Michael Hevalow, and Gary Lynn; and had eight grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. She was also the stepmother to four children, and had twelve step-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, two of her sons, and extended family, she is survived by her sister-in-law Janet Malarkey and was predeceased by sons David and Chuck Hevalow and brothers Bob and Raymond Malarkey.

During her career Marion worked as a medical secretary and was a supervisor for the medical office of Dr. David Gillum and for Kingdom Inc. Most recently she volunteered for about thirty years in prison ministry, having been trained by the Chuck Colson Prison Fellowship.

Marion was a faithful member of the Church of the New Covenant in Mansfield PA. She previously taught Sunday school and throughout her walk with the Lord she proudly was witness to many in their journey with Jesus Christ.

Friends may visit on Saturday, May 9 at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of the New Covenant, 310 Extension Street, Mansfield PA. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m.
