Lynda Anne Brenner-Kump, age 62 of Middlebury Center, PA, passed away peacefully at home on October 28, 2025.
Lynda was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on this Earth was one marked by love, compassion and unwavering love for both her parents and animals. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends and many more whose lives were touched by her. We ask that you remember her not for the way her life ended; but, for the way it was lived and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Lynda is survived by her loving parents; Eugene and Margaret (Smith) Kump; husband, John Brenner; brothers, Mike and Tim Kump; and sister, Lisa Kump-Wattles. She also leaves behind her dog, Rosie – one of many rescues during her life. Her husband John will miss her dearly, she was the love that he always dreamed of.
After graduating from Mansfield University in 1984, Lynda moved to Philadelphia to pursue her passion in business. She became supervisor and buyer for JCPenny in King of Prussia. She touched many lives during her time with JCPenny. She was devoted to helping all her workers with all of life’s challenges. Her workers loved and cherished her dedication to helping them succeed.
Those who knew Lynda will remember her for her love of her parents and any rescues in need. She was involved in Meals on Wheels, ASPCA, T2T, and several other veteran charities. She spent her entire life helping others.
John met Lynda 18 years ago and she changed his life forever. Her compassion for animals and mountain rides will always remain with John. He is devastated by her loss, but blessed for the 18 loving years they spent together. They will have much more love to give when they spend eternal life together. She was a special human being who will truly be missed here on Earth.
In memory of Lynda, please donate to your local animal shelter – she would bless you for doing so. Per Lynda’s wishes, no services are to be held. Arrangements are in the care of Kenyon Funeral Home, Inc.
