Larry E. “Pete” Moon, Sr. age 81 of Cowanesque, PA, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at the Green Home in Wellsboro, PA. Born January 25, 1944 in Blossburg, PA, he was the son of the late Archie and Evelyn (Carmen) Moon, Sr.
Pete worked for the Westfield Tannery for many years. He married Phyllis J. (Schultz) and they shared 60 years together.
He enjoyed playing the lottery scratch offs, bowling league and watching the Yankees.
Pete is survived by his wife, Phyllis J. Moon; children, Debra Schultz of Galeton, Duane Parslow of Westfield, Donna Moon of Westfield, Larry Moon of Elkland, Scott Moon of Westfield, Kevin and Denise Moon of Westfield and Todd Moon of Westfield and his brothers, Archie “Steve” Moon and James “Punk” Moon. Pete was preceded by his son, Terry Parslow and sisters, Shirley Taft and Cora Flynn.
