Joan L. Oliver, age 87, of Canton, PA, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. She was born on Thursday, November 24, 1938, in Sayre, PA, the daughter of Howard and Myra (Bird) Stone.
Joan was the wife of the late Franklin Oliver. They celebrated 50 years of marriage on July 15, 2005. Joan was a homemaker.
Along with her family, she was a caretaker and gravedigger for several cemeteries over the span of 41 years.
Joan is survived by her son, Mark Oliver; one daughter, Tenley Oliver of Canton, PA; one grandson, Adrian Oliver of Manheim, PA; one granddaughter, Sasha Brocato of MD; one great granddaughter; one brother-in-law, Jessie Oliver of Williamsport, PA; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a brother, Sidney Stone.
