Jess Woodring Sr., age 84 of Sabinsville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at UPMC Williamsport Hospital. Jess was born on Wednesday, May 28, 1941, in Williamsport, PA, a son of William and Romain Woodring.
He worked as a welder for Ingersoll Rand, and was a member of the Clymer Township Volunteer Fire Department.
Jess is survived by his sons, William “Bill” (Marie) Woodring of Westfield, PA, and Jess Woodring of Harrison Valley, PA; daughter Nancy Skelton of Westfield, PA; grandchildren, Nathan Woodring, Summer Butler, Kyle (Brandi) Woodring, Ashley Woodring, Dustin Skelton, and Brent Skelton; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Bob, Hughy, and Ronnie; and sisters Carol and Patty. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Sara (Staples) Woodring; brothers, Bill, Buddy, Benny, Eddy, Johnny, George, and Raymond; and sisters Mary, Shawana, and Edith.
