James E. Yordy, age 85, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2026. He was born in Sunbury, PA, a son of the late Earl and Phyllis Yordy.
Jim was married for 66 years to Mary Yordy and was retired from PP&L. He was a devoted husband, dad, grandpa and friend. He was well known as a patron of lunches and will be missed by many.
Jim is survived by his wife Mary, daughters: Margaret Marcelino of Coplay, PA, Annette (Matthew) Nuss of Wellsboro, PA, grandchildren: Caleb (Sarah) Nuss, Hannah Nuss, both of Wellsboro, PA, and a brother: Randy (Sandy) Yordy of Wind Gap, PA.
He was predeceased by a sister: Beverly Cahoon, son-in-law: Jose Marcelino and his very special aunt: Shirley Yordy.
