Irvin T. Smith, III, age 76, of Wellsboro, PA, died on Saturday, March 28, 2026. He was born on November 7, 1949 in Norristown, PA, a son of the late Irvin T. Smith, Jr. and Mildred V. (Cole) Smith.
He was a Vietnam Veteran serving with the US Air Force.
Irvin was a manager for the PA Liquor Control Board for many years and was a member of the PA Alliance for Retired Americans, PA Association of Retired State Employees, Tioga County Democrats and the Tioga County Alliance for Democracy.
He is survived by a brother: Thomas Smith of Wellsboro, PA and a niece: Stephanie Kline of Reading, PA. Services will be private and are entrusted to the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc. www.carletonfh.com Wellsboro, PA.
