Ilene Janice Heil, age 83, of Mainesburg, PA, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Robert Packer Hospital, in Sayre, PA. She was born in Philadelphia, PA, on December 19, 1942, a daughter of Francis “Frank” and Mabel (Naylor) Adams.
Ilene was the wife of Thomas Anthony Heil, Sr., with whom she shared 68 years of loving partnership and 63 years of matrimony.
She was a member of the Holy Child Catholic Church in Mansfield, PA, and worked as a catering manager at Mansfield University. She enjoyed flowers and decorating for Christmas. Spending time with her family was most important to Ilene.
Ilene is survived by her husband; sons, Thomas (Sharon) Heil, Jr. of Lowman, NY, Michael (Terry) Heil of Odenton, MD, and Robert (Karen) Heil of Sanatoga, PA; eleven grandchildren, Brent, Katie, Craig, Courtni, Stephanie, Sabrina, Daniel, Danielle, Samantha, Billy and Sarah; and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Holy Child Catholic Church located at 242 South Main Street in Mansfield, PA, with Rev. Bryan Wright as celebrant.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ilene’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org. Burial will take place in State Road Cemetery, in Mainesburg, PA.
