Gary Leonard Gee, age 70, of Gillett, PA, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at his home. He was born on Friday, July 29, 1955, in Blossburg, PA. He was a son of Leonard and Barbara (Frost) Gee.
Gary was married to Darlene Marie (Bolt) Gee. He worked as an ultrasonographer at Robert Packer Hospital. After his retirement, Gary made it his mission to team with the Heart of Tioga and other pregnancy resource centers in advocating for unborn babies.
Gary was a veteran of the United States Navy and was a member Wellsburg Community Church. He enjoyed hunting, riding his Harley, and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Although he had some wild younger years, playing drums in his band and ruckusing with his friends, Gary made the decision to love the Lord Jesus Christ with his entire being and we know he’s waiting to see us again in Heaven.
Gary is survived by his wife, Darlene; two daughters, Emily (Stephen) Barrett of Elmira, NY, and Melissa (Robert) Jackson of Horseheads, NY; three grandchildren, Olivia Gee, Noah Gee, and Sarai Jackson; and a brother, Steve (Shalane) Gee of Dubois, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends and family are invited to call on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 pm with Pastor Faith Bogdan officiating. Calling hours will also be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Wellsburg Community Church located at 3662 Front Street n Wellsburg, NY 14894.
