Elizabeth (Schoonover) Bolt, age 77, of Lawrenceville, PA, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. She was born on Friday, June 25, 1948, in Coudersport, PA, the daughter of Jack and Ethel (Mann) Schoonover.
Elizabeth was married to the late Jessie Lee Bolt, Sr. She worked in the deli department at Preston’s.
She was a member of the Wellsboro Senior Center and the Millerton Senior Center.
Elizabeth is survived by her sons, Jesse (Melissa) Bolt, Jr. of Cherry Flats, PA, and Harold (Becky) Bolt of Mainesburg, PA; three daughters, Joan (Butch) Boop of Mansfield, PA, Michele (Ed Kimball) Hostrander of Cortland, NY, and Liz (Tom) Tracy of Lawrenceville, PA; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; three brothers, James (Kelly) Schoonover of Bath, NY, Larry (Sabrina) Schoonover of Bath, NY, and Randy (Jodie) Schoonover of Bradford, NY; and three sisters, Welcome Benninger of Berwick, PA, Violet Faill of Claxton, GA, and Linda VanDusen of Bath, NY.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents, Jack and Ethel Schoonover; stepmother, Wilma Schoonover; a son-in-law, Roland Hostrander; two brothers, Lloyd and Mansel Schoonover; two sisters, Raya Bryant, and Agnes Losinger; and two brothers-in-law, David VanDusen and Benny Benninger.
