Donna Rae Wood, age 79, of Lawrenceville, PA, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. She was born on December 22, 1946 in Corning, NY, a daughter of Burrell C. and Mabel L. (Thrall) Morse. Donna was married to the late Joseph Luther Wood, Jr. who passed away on June 27, 2025. She worked at Corning Glass and enjoyed family, flowers, crafts, sewing, crocheting, and loved her dog, Paisley.
Donna is survived by her son, Jeffrey (Corinne) Wood of Tioga, PA; a granddaughter, Megan Louise Wood; a brother, Burrell “Sonny” (Cindy) Morse of Lindley, NY; three sisters, Patty Osgood of Corning, NY, Carol (Vern) Porter of Painted Post, NY, and Charlotte Houghtaling of Addison, NY; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and three brothers, Gary “Butch” Morse, Sidney “Bud” Morse, and Richard “Dick” Morse.
