Calvin L. Reese, age 84, of Wellsboro, PA, died on Monday, February 9, 2026. He was born on Saturday, April 5, 1941, in Wellsboro, PA, a son of the late Leslie and Carolyn (Crum) Reese and was married for 63 years to Francia (Pieve) Reese.
Calvin served in the US Navy, was retired from Merganthaler and was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Wellsboro, PA. He was a member of VFW Post 3730, American Legion Post 572, both of Blossburg, PA, Knoxville VFW and a member of the Arnot Sportsmen Club.
He is survived by his wife: Francia Reese of Wellsboro, PA, son: Walter (Nikki) Reese, of Wellsboro, PA, daughter: Julie (Todd) Runkle of Spring Mills, PA, grandchildren: Tiffany Reese, James (Lynne)Reese, Jay Runkle, great grandchildren: Liam Reese, Hayden Reese, Angela Reese. A funeral service be held on Friday, February 13, 2026 at 10:00 am at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc. www.carletonfh.com Wellsboro, PA, with Rev. Jacek Bialkowski officiating. Interment will be in the Welsh Settlement Cemetery, Wellsboro, PA.
