SPENCER, NY – The Tioga County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a potential school violence threat against the Spencer Van Etten School District. The Sheriff’s Office is treating the threat as credible, however, there currently is no danger to the school or the public. The matter is actively being investigated by the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division in conjunction with school officials. Additional information will be released when possible.
