SHESHEQUIN TOWNSHIP, PA – (UPDATE) The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop P – Towanda station has released a tragic update on 46-year-old Curtis Ammerman, of Sheshequin Township, Bradford County, PA. Ammerman was reported missing during the first week of September. He had last been seen at approximately 9:00 PM on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, near his residence on Cross Road in Sheshequin Township. It was believed that Ammerman left on foot.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, Ammerman was found dead on Sunday, September 14, after a search that was led by state police.
The brief Pennsylvania State Police release simply stated that no incident of foul play is suspected in Curtis Ammerman’s death, and it was also noted that there is no threat to the public. No other details were released on the cause of death or where Ammerman’s body was found.
Police did expressed their thanks to the public for their assistance in this investigation.
