There will be activities for kids and everyone is encouraged to view all the EMS and fire apparatus, as well as police cruisers on display and even climb aboard some of them.
This event is a great opportunity for children and teens to ask fire, EMS, and police personnel questions about their jobs. Also it is a wonderful time to thank local heroes for all they do everyday to help others.
New this year will be Paradise Grill Food Truck out of Wellsboro, PA.
Once again this year there will be two Jaws of Life demonstrations where firefighters will show onlookers how they carefully use the powerful tools to gain access to victims trapped or confined inside a vehicle. Those demonstrations are planned to occur around 11:30 AM and again at 12:30 PM.
Special thanks going out to Costy’s for providing the vehicles that will be used for the two public demonstrations.
If you happen to drive by Lowe’s this Saturday and see all the emergency vehicles in their parking lot do not be alarmed. Just stop in to check out all the emergency vehicles and police units. This is a friendly fun event for the whole family, as well as, great event to drop in by yourself.
Remember that all attendees and planned events are subject to change due to any emergency occurring in the county at that time.
