
TROY TOWNSHIP, PA – A man with multiple warrants was seriously injured after he fled from Troopers on Wednesday afternoon, August 19, 2026, in Troy Township, PA.
On Wednesday, August 19, 2026, around 12:56 PM, members of the Pennsylvania State Police-Towanda Station, were advised of a male who had multiple warrants for his arrest currently located at the Fellowship Bible Church parking lot fixing a flat tire.
According to Pennsylvania State Police-Towanda, upon Trooper’s arrival, the suspect (31-year-old, Dakota Seth Baillie of Cassandra РА.), entered his vehicle and fled east on Mud Creek Road. at a high rate of speed while only having three tires on his vehicle. The vehicle then turned onto Orchard Hill Road. and began traveling north. While traveling in the 1100 block of Orchard Hill Road. the alleged suspect failed to negotiate a left-hand curve which caused him to travel northeast off of the roadway and crashed.
As a result of the accident, Baillie was partially ejected from his vehicle. Troopers immediately rendered first aid on Dakota Baillie until EMS personnel arrived on scene. Baillie was first transported to the Troy Hospital and then flown out to another hospital for further treatment of his suspected severe injuries.
The Troopers involved in this incident have been placed on Administrative Leave as per regulations. This
investigation is ongoing.
Dakota Baillie is facing the following 10 charges;
- 3rd Degree Felony – FLEEING OR ATTEMPTING TO ELUDE OFFICER.
- 3rd Degree Felony – FLIGHT TO AVOID APPREHENSION/TRIAL/PUNISHMENT.
- 2nd Degree Felony – POSSESSION OF FIREARM PROHIBITED.
- 2nd Degree Misdemeanor – RECKLESSLY ENDANGERING ANOTHER PERSON.
- Summary – CARELESS DRIVING – GENERAL RULE.
- Summary – RECKLESS DRIVING.
- Summary – DRIVING AT (UN)SAFE SPEED.
- Misdemeanor – MARIJUANA-SMALL AMT PERSONAL USE.
