PSP-Coudersport Release – December 2025.
POTTER COUNTY, PA – Back on Saturday, November 22, 2025, around 10:37 PM, Pennsylvania State Police based in Coudersport conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of Costello Road on a white 2019 Dodge Ram for Title 75 violations.
Through the Trooper’s investigation it was determined that 35-year-old Todd Russell Schatz of Saint Mary’s, PA, was allegedly under the influence of alcohol. Todd Schatz would consent to a blood draw at the local hospital.
According to court records, Schatz was later charged with the following;
- Misdemeanor – DUI/BAC .10%-.16%.
- Misdemeanor – DUI/UNSAFE DRIVING
- Summary – CARELESS DRIVING – GENERAL RULE
- Summary – RECKLESS DRIVING
- Summary – TURNING MOVEMENTS AND REQUIRED SIGNALS- GENERAL RULE
- Summary – DRIVING ON ROADWAYS LANED FOR TRAFFIC -SINGLE
Schatz’s preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Monday, January 26, 2026, at 9:30 am in front of Bryan D. Phelps.
