
PSP-Mansfield Release – March 5, 2026. (Case No. PA2026-242884).
WELLSBORO, PA – On Thursday, March 5, 2026, the Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation Northeast Computer Crime Task Force and PSP-Mansfield followed up on information received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). NCMEC reported that a user on a social media application was possessing and transmitting child abuse sexual material (CSAM) at a residence along the 900 block of Lake Road in Charleston Township.
This information led to a search warrant being issued for Wesley Hardin English’s electronic devices at his residence. Once the search warrant was completed a criminal complaint was lodged against English.
English was criminally charged with the following Title 18 Crimes Code violations:
- 5 counts of Felony 2 – Sexual Abuse of Children – Child Sexual Abuse Material.
- 1 count of Felony 2 Sexual Abuse of Children- Dissemination
- 1 count of Felony 3 Criminal Use of a Communication Facility.
A preliminary arraignment was held in Mansfield, PA, before the Honorable Tiffany Cummings for the charges and bail was set at $20,000. The defendant was remanded to Tioga County Prison.
English’s preliminary hearing is set for Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 11:15 AM in front of Magisterial District Judge Robert L. Repard.
According the Pennsylvania State Police release, 19-year-old Wesley English is listed as residing in Mansfield, PA, although he is listed as living on Lake Road in Charleston Township.
