Male Driver Faces Multiple Felonies After Police Pursuit

BRADFORD COUNTY, PA – Back on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, around 11:40 AM, Pennsylvania State Police based in Towanda were requested to assist the Chemung County Sheriffs Office with a pursuit that entered Pennsylvania from New York. It seems the pursuit came to an end in South Creek Township, at the intersection of Coleman Road/Dot Hill Road.

53-year-old Brian Wilcox of Milan, PA, who was operating a 2001 black Ford F-150XLT, was arrested and taken into custody. Pennsylvania State Police listed two victims, a 30-year-old Elmira, NY man and a male from Wellsburg, NY.

Charges have been filed against Wilcox for crimes that occurred in Pennsylvania’s jurisdiction. Those charges include the following;

  • 4 Counts of Aggravated Assault – Attempts to cause or causes Bodily Injury to designated individuals – 2nd Degree Felony.
  • 1 Count of Fleeing or Attempting to Elude Officer – 3rd Degree Felony.
  • 2 Counts of Recklessly Endangering Another Person – 2nd Degree Misdemeanor.
  • Flight To Avoid Apprehension/Trial/Punish – 2nd Degree Misdemeanor.
  • DUI: Genera; Impairment/Incapable of Driving Safely – 1st Offense – Misdemeanor.

Wilcox was placed in the Bradford County Correctional Facility as he could not pay the monetary bail of $125,000.

Formal Arraignment is scheduled for Monday, March 9, 2026, at 9:30 AM, in Courtroom #1 in front of President Judge Maureen T. Beirne.
