MAINESBURG, PA – The Mainesburg Community Christmas Celebration is back again with free holiday fun for everyone on Friday evening Dec. 5th and Saturday, Dec. 6th! All events will be held at130 Smith Park Road, Mainesburg, PA .
The holiday spirit is coming to life at this year’s Community Christmas Celebration, a joyful, family-centered event filled with festive activities, entertainment, and delicious treats for all ages.
Children 12 and under can enjoy all activities free of charge, while adults are invited to join in the holiday fun by donation (which will support future community events and programs).
The celebration features a full lineup of free family activities and entertainment, including:
- Friday , December 5th – Movie & Snack Bar – Kick off the weekend with the modern take on the discovery of Santa, “Klaus”, a holiday film complete with a free snack bar, including pop corn, candy bars and juices. There will be two showings on Friday, December 5, 2025 at 4:00 PM and at 7:00 PM.
- Tree Lighting, Bonfire, Cocoa & Carols – Gather for the official lighting of the Community Christmas tree at 6:00 PM on Friday evening, December 5th, complete with classic carols, free hot cocoa and cookies. Or wait, will the Grinches show up to throw it all off?
- Saturday, December 6th – Start, December 6th with a Breakfast with Buddy & Jovie from 10:00 AM to 11:30AM. Enjoy a free breakfast for kids 12 and under with everyone’s favorite Christmas elves!
- Santa Photos & “Give a Gift” – Santa will be giving all children a free gift from his sack of goodies at 1130am and 230pm. He will be at the Gingerbread Photo Frame booth, in between his spreading joy and toys, to take pictures with kids, families, friends, and maybe even a Grinch or two.
- Kids’ Crafts & Activities – Ornament making, cookie decorating and wooden toy painting with volunteers.
- Polar Express Train Setup – All aboard the magical mini train with Conductor Stan! Enjoy the O Gauge setup, turn the knob and watch it run. Kids with supervision can run the train.
- Kids’ Concerts & Carolers – Enjoy performances throughout the day on December 6, 2025, by local high school kids and choirs.
- Face Painting – is back by popular demand. Tascha will be painting her holiday-themed designs for the little ones.
- Photograph Opportunities – Capture the memories at our festive photo backdrops or with the characters that will be wandering the Park on Saturday. You never know who might show up.
- Holiday Hay Wagon Rides – Cozy up for a ride through our winter wonderland.
- Igloo Dodgeball & Snowball Cannons
– Fun, laughter and a touch of frosty excitement!
