TIOGA COUNTY, PA – FNN has provided a list of local food pantries for those who may need assistance in November since the political parties are still fighting of a budget agreement. Nearly two million may not get SNAP benefits in November, if an agreement is not made between the two political parties who are suppose to work for the people and help the people who voted them into office.
Blossburg – Matthew 25 Food Pantry in Blossburg, PA – Is open the third Wednesday of every month from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Blossburg United Methodist Church located at 108 North Williamson Road in Blossburg. Cogan House Food Pantry – Is open the first Thursday of every month from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cogan House Township Building located at 4609 State Route 184 in Trout Run, PA.
Elkland/Osceola/Nelson – Emergency Food Pantry simply call (570) 502-4965 for assistance. If there is no answer, please leave a message. Remember to leave your phone number. Do not text. The Food Pantry is located in Elkland in the HUB Mission Center at the old Clark Wood School on Coates Avenue.
Galeton Food Pantry – (Potter County) is located at the St. Paul Lutheran Church located at 45 Pine Street in Galeton, PA. It is open on the fourth Friday of every month with the exception of November and December. For November and December it will be open on the third Friday of those two months. Time open is from 9:15 AM to 11:00 AM. For more information call (814) 435-2992.
Gillett Food Pantry – Is open every Thursday from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Gillett Baptist Church located at 33241 PA-14, Gillett, PA.

Lawrenceville – Strait from the Heart Food Pantry (was opened on September 18th) – Strait From The Heart Food Pantry is located at 18 Academy Street in Lawrenceville. Liberty Area Food Pantry – Is open on the first Wednesday of each month from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Liberty Lutheran Church, or call Kathy (570) 447-4516 for an appointment. Please bring your own bags or boxes.
Lindley, NY – Food Pantry of Angels (Lindley) is open every Thursday, from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at 682 County Route 115 Lindley, NY. For more information call (607) 523-1017. This is open to anyone.
Mansfield Area Food Pantry – Is open from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month with the the exception of November and December. For those two months it is open on the second Wednesday only but same time frame. Located at 5 Benson Drive, (intersection of Route 6 and Benson Drive) Mansfield.

Middlebury Center – Sister Jenny’s Drive-Thru Supplemental Food Pantry is the second Saturday of every month from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at 14 Plaza Lane, Middlebury Center. Serves all 21 zip codes in Tioga County. For more information call (570) 827-3171.
Tioga Food Pantry – Opens on the last Saturday of each month with the exception of November and December. For those two months the food pantry will be open on the third Saturday. Wellsboro Area Food Pantry – Is open the second Monday and fourth Tuesday every month from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the lower level of the United Methodist Church located at 36 Main Street in Wellsboro, PA.
