The Mansfield field hockey team saw 15 players make the national academic report on Friday morning.

MANAHAWKIN, N.J. – The Mansfield Mountaineer field hockey team earned more hardware off the field as fifteen student-athletes were named to the 2025 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division II National Academic Squad, the office announced today (Feb. 13).
This esteemed recognition is granted to individuals who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher through the fall semester of the current academic year, as nominated by their dedicated NFHCA member coaches.
440 undergraduate student-athletes from 34 institutions earned a coveted spot on the 2025 Division II National Academic Squad. 15 Mountaineers earned this honor, almost doubling the amount from the prior year.
For the Mounties, Natalie Brunick, Jordan Brunnabend, Sophia Castaldo, Jenna Duke, Melanie Esh, Kyleigh Hinson, Olivia Kline, Maura Kulp, Kathleen Marchiani, Ava Mondulick, Kaylie Ranere, Amanda Ray, Gabrielle Rogerson, Emma Shaw and Leah Toskey represented the 2025 group.
Toskey clinched a high honor, as this is her fourth year on the NFHCA roster. Duke, Esh, Kline, Kulp, Marchiani and Ranere stand out as the six returners to earn this honor, being a part of the 2024 group.
For the rest of the squad, Brunick, Brunnabend, Castaldo, Hinson, Mondulick, Ray, Rogerson and Shaw all find themselves earning their first bid on the NFHCA roster.
