Dushore Man Facing 4 DUI Related Charges After Fleeing Crash Scene

BRADFORD COUNTY, PA – On Thursday, December 25, 2025, around 7:56 PM, Pennsylvania State Police based in Towanda were dispatched to 2404 Shaffers Notch Road in Terry Township for the report of a single vehicle accident.

According to police, 35-year-old Austen McGee of Dushore, PA, was operating a 2024 gray Ford Explorer when he crashed. After crashing he allegedly fled the scene. Police stated that McGee was later located and transported by EMS for treatment of his injuries. Police also noted in their release that there were indicators of impairment observed.

McGee has been charged with the following;

  • DUI/Unsafe Driving – (Misdemeanor).
  • DUI/BAC .16% and Greater – (Misdemeanor).
  • DUI/BAC .10%-.16% – (Misdemeanor).
  • DUI/BAC .08%-10% – (Misdemeanor).
  • CARELESS DRIVING – GENERAL RULE – (Summary).
  • DRIVING ON ROADWAYS LANED FOR TRAFFIC – SINGLE – (Summary).
  • MMEDIATE NOTICE OF ACCIDENT TO POLICE DEPARTMENT – TOWING REQUIRED – (Summary).
  • (NOT) DRIVING AT SAFE SPEED – (Summary).

Austen McGee’s preliminary hearing is set for Friday, March 13, 2026 at 9:30 AM in front of MDJ Ryan L. Edsell.
