WESTFIELD, PA – Early Wednesday morning, January 14, 2026, Crary Hose Company and Clymer Hose Company, as well as ambulance from Sabinsville were dispatched to a single vehicle crash near 458 Reservoir Hill Road in Westfield Township just before 5:00 AM.
The driver of a passenger placed a call to 911 and reported that he was confined inside his vehicle after it ended up in a ditch.
Crary Hose fire personnel arrived at the accident scene by 5:15 AM. The driver was quickly extricated from the car and it was noted that he only suffered minor injuries. The driver refused any additional treatment or transport to the hospital. At that time, Clymer Hose Company was able to be recalled as they were not needed at the scene.
The road conditions in the area were said to be icy and some areas had snow on roadway, which is believed to have played a role in the morning crash.
White’s Towing was requested to come for the damaged vehicle. White’s arrived on the scene by 6:12 AM. All remaining Crary Hose fire crews were cleared at that time to return back to their station.
Pennsylvania State Police is handling the investigation into the accident.
