WELLSBORO, PA – Tickets for Appetite for Voltage are close to selling out at the Deane Center for the Performing Arts in Wellsboro.
Paying tribute to two of rock’s most iconic bands, Appetite for Voltage will deliver the best of Guns N’ Roses and AC/DC next Friday, Sept. 26 at 7:30 p.m. in the Deane Center’s Coolidge Theatre at 104 Main Street in Wellsboro.
The musicians will bring the classic songs of Guns N’ Roses and AC/DC to life, faithfully recreating “note for note” renditions of these bands biggest hits and deep cuts. Expect a high-energy show featuring tracks from “Appetite for Destruction” and “Back in Black.”
The following Friday, Oct. 3 at 7:30 p.m. join John Showman and Chris Coole for a night of captivating roots music and on Saturday, Oct. 4 at 7:30 p.m. relive the hits of The Cars with Best Friends Girl.
Showman and Coole are masters of fiddle, banjo, and song. Their musical partnership spans two decades with a sound that blends old-time, bluegrass, and folk with a modern twist. Drawing inspiration from legends like Hank Williams, Dock Boggs, and The Band, this duo’s original tunes and renditions take audiences on a journey through timeless musical landscapes.
Best Friends Girl is a tribute band dedicated to celebrating the remarkable 35-year career of The Cars. Known for their catchy songs and chart-topping albums, The Cars’ timeless classics like “Best Friends Girl”, “Shake It Up”, and “Moving in Stereo” are brought to life by professional musicians with a passion for keeping this music alive.
