WELLSBORO, PA – Shortly after 6:00 AM, on Monday, November 17, 2025, Wellsboro fire unit responded to a reported single vehicle accident where the vehicle was said to have come to rest in a ditch.
The crash occurred around 12618 Route 6 in Charleston Township near New Road in Wellsboro, PA. Wellsboro’s squad unit responded.
Wellsboro’s squad unit arrived on scene at 6:10 PM. It was confirmed that the vehicle came to rest off the roadway.
The female driver would end up declining treatment. As for her vehicle, it was moved to the Christ Church driveway due to safety reasons as it could not be seen well by other drivers traveling on the icy roadway.
The vehicle was then taped off by Wellsboro fire unit which was able to head back to their station around 6:24 AM.
Pennsylvania State Police arrived on scene as Wellsboro medics handled the paperwork on the patient refusal and the scene was turned over to them and Wellsboro medics were able to return back to the hospital.
