CU-Mansfield Sports Release – June 28, 2026.
MANSFIELD, PA – Marissa Allen and Allyson Lewis of the Mansfield Mountaineer cross-country and track and field program were named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women’s Track & Field/Cross Country Team, the organization announced on Tuesday (June, 23).
Eligible nominees will be based off TFRRS regional performance rankings at the time of nomination. Note: Only individual ranked performances are to be used for eligibility. If a student-athlete has participated in a RELAY EVENT, that can bolster the nomination but the basic criteria to be met is for INDIVIDUAL performances. Relays cannot be the basis for eligibility.
- NCAA institutions:
- Cross Country – Top-50 individual performance at the NCAA regional competition during the current academic year
- Track – Top-50 regional ranking in single event (indoor or outdoor)
Allen earned a 3.89 GPA. She had the 23rd best time, in the Atlantic Regional, in the 3K Steeplechase. Her best time of 11:54.05 was run at the 2026 UB Alumni Invitational.
Lewis earned a GPA of 3.60. She had the 49th best time, in the Atlantic Regional, in the 10K. She ran a time of 44:00.20 at the Brockport Multi & Invitational.
