Galeton Man Wanted By PSP After Domestic Incident

WEST BRANCH TOWNSHIP, PA — Pennsylvania State Police continue their search for 33-old-year Joshua Shawn Rudinski of Galeton. Rudinski is accused of allegedly assaulting multiple victims with weapons during a domestic dispute on Monday afternoon in Potter County.

According to PSP Coudersport, the incident happened on Monday, June 22, 2026, around 3:00 PM, at 738 Crippen Run Road in West Branch Township.

Police noted that Rudinski fled the scene while armed with a large knife.

Residents in the Germania area reported to FNN that there was a large police presence and even a K9 unit seen along Crippen Run Road throughout the day and into the evening.

Troopers were unable locate Rudinski after the incident. A warrant for his arrest was issued later that day.

On Tuesday, June 23rd, Pennsylvania State Police conducted a second search of the area with a K9. According to PSP, the K9 search indicated Rudinski may have been picked up and transported from the area.

According to police, Rudinski is believed to be armed.

Rudinskiis is facing the following charges:

* Aggravated Assault, Felony 1st Degree.

* Strangulation, Felony 2nd Degree.

* Terroristic Threats, Misdemeanor 1st Degree.

* Unlawful Restraint, Misdemeanor 1st Degree.

* False Imprisonment, Misdemeanor 2nd Degree.

* Simple Assault, Misdemeanor 2nd Degree.

* Simple Assault, Misdemeanor 2nd Degree.

* Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Misdemeanor 2nd Degree.

* Harassment, Summary Offense.
